As part of our research we all did extensive research into car crash statistics. We felt that these statistics in this film were the most affective, and would have most of an impact on our audience. These statistics have been placed in our final documentary.

Research- Documentary reviews

By looking at documentary reviews such as this one for Farenheit 9/11, i can see the typical style of language used in a review. Although some of the content in this review is to do with the documentary's profit, and is not useful to me the rest of the review discusses the storyline of the documentary. On the same website there are many other reviews which will be useful to me when writing my review. Now I will start to write my review by using microsoft publisher. Using similar language to the reviews I have already researched.
Draft titles for supporting pieces

These are my draft titles from http://www.dafont.com/ as you can see I have chosen my title for my documentary review, but just need to decide on which font to use. I have cut it down to either of these three styles.

This is also my draft background for my documentary review. I went with the theme graffiti, becuase it could tie in with the theme teenage driving. I am also looking at different types of graffiti that could go as my background. Because our subject is to do with teenagers and young adults, the graffiti theme is something that is often linked with teens. So i thought would make the review standout more.

Voice Overs
We decided to record some voice overs to put over the statistics in our documentary, so that the audience won't feel they are being bombarded with information and so it's easier for them to take it. The process was easy due to the built in recorder on the macs, we quickly recorded 4 statistics which will be played during our documentary. To make sure we chose the best suited voice for our documentary, we all did tests to see who's voice sounded the best, we decided to choose Ellie's voice as it sounded best with the nature of our documentary. Having finished recording them quickly, we need to now edit the recordings so that they fit in with the statistics.
Fifth Interview
As a group we decided that a further interview was necessary. We once again asked a teacher in our school to be our interviewee, this time we just wanted her to view her opinions on teenage driving. My group member Ellie put together a few questions to ask, they were quite simple but could be answered in detail. We decided to film this interview with a handheld camera, to give it a different feel from the other interviews we've filmed. Our interviewee gave indepth answers to all the questions that we aked, which is exactly what we wanted to get, and we felt this was the best interview we had done so far. Because the interviewee gave detailed answers,we have alot that we could put into our documentary and because all of the answers were detailed we can cut quite alot out but still have valuable information into our documentary.
We decided to cut out Ellie who was asking the questions, so that it wouldn't take up neccesary time in our final documentary.
